The argument lies on both sides, with some advocating for gender equality and national unity while others see it as interfering with religious customs and traditions. From a social standpoint, India’s adoption of the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) faces opposition. We are examining the idea of the UCC, its legal framework, and genesis.
